I feel every child and family should get a copy of your truthful and insightful book. We are often not informed about the causes, research and treatment of our children's diabetes at the depth you go into in your book. Your chapter on the pump is great. (Her son, 9 years of age was diagnosed at 7 years of age and is now on the insulin pump as of Jan. 1999) --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

The book is excellent and I think will have a wide appeal internationally. However, the book is not suitable for everyone, but certainly would be extremely useful to families and young adults who want comprehensive information and for nurses, general practitioners and other health professionals involved in the care of people with IDDM. Congratulations for an excellent and much needed book. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
