About the Author
Cheryl Kimball is the former director of Chronimed Publishing, a health book publisher with a focus on books on diabetes. She has successfully collaborated on book projects in the past, the most recent being What to do When the Doctor Says PCOS (Fair Winds Press, 2002).
Thomas L. Lyons, M.D. is the Medical Director for the Center for Women's Care and Reproductive Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia. He is on the staff of the Advanced Surgery Center of Georgia, Northside Hospital-Cherokee, St. Joseph's Hospital, and HealthSouth Surgery Center and is Clinical Assistant Professor at Emory University and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia. Dr. Lyons has authored over 100 scholarly publications including several chapters on endometriosis. He is also on the staff for the Center for Endometriosis Care in Atlanta.
