About the Author
Richard J. Delaney, PhD is an internationally known trainer and consultant who has worked with troubled youth since 1970. He has consulted with foster and adoptive parents, caseworkers and child care agencies over the past twenty-five years. Dr. Delaney received his PhD in clinical psychology from Loyola University of Chicago in 1973, but his real education began when he started working with foster and adoptive parents.
