She likes to grow tea herbs, and tea parties are one of the most pleasurable ways for her to spend time with her friends and her young niece. Maggie lives in Portland, Oregon. Carolyn Bucha is a self-taught, award-winning artist who specializes in illustrations for books and greeting cards, such as Country Tea Party, similar Storey title Tea With Friends by Elizabeth Knight, and H. Her work has been on the cover of The Treasury of American Quilts and Bartlett's Ocean View Farm Cookbook, and her watercolors were featured in the cookbook, Please Come to Dinner. Carolyn's style was influenced by the years she spent in the Middle East and Paris. Originally from England, Carolyn now lives in Waccabuc, New York.
