About the Author
Nicolle Croft has worked in the wine trade for 15 years. She promotes the enjoyment of wine through "'plain speaking"' wine education--including the Wine School in the cellars of London wine merchants Berry Bros. and Rudd. She is the author of "'Winetasting"'(Ryland Peters and Small). Mary Dowey writes a wine column in the Irish Times and contributes to Wine magazine and Decanter. She also writes for Bon Appetitt in the US. Mary runs intensive wine courses at the Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland. She is the author of "'Wine and Food"'(Ryland Peters and Small). Jonathan Ray spent several years in the UK wine trade working for Peter Dominic, Oddbins, and Berry Bros. and Rudd, before becoming a writer and lecturer. He is the author of "'White Wine"', "'Red Wine"', and "'Bubbly"'(Ryland Peters and Small).
