Editorial Reviews
Book Description
Cooking for Friends by innovative young food writer Alastair Hendy is a collection of thoroughly modern recipes that look spectacular but are easy to prepare and totally delicious. Entertaining should be a pleasure not a chore, a chance to set aside the bland convenience food of everyday life and experiment with fresh, tasty ingredients and new ideas. Alastair believes that the best way to cook is to choose the best fresh ingredients, ideally in their natural season, and to keep things simple. Here he provides over 100 recipes that include such temptations as Eggplant Mozzarella Lasagne, Lemon Herb-cured Salmon Trout, Fig Almond Tart, and Hazelnut Tiramisu Cake. Each recipe is photographed by cutting-edge food photographer David Loftus. With Cooking for Friends you will create food that will delight and impress your guests - whatever the occasion.
